GRAPHIC DESIGN +TYPOGRAPHY
For for my visual promotions course, the prompt was to create a magazine advertisement for a brand.
I drew inspiration from my trip to Amsterdam. I found a new start up brand called Pelican Studios, who recently did a collaboration with Wrangler’s rebrand launch (ft. Peter Max). I wanted to pull the bright, fun colors from the Wrangler x Peter Max Campaign and keep a simple, but balanced layout like the Pelican Studios store/brand.
For my visual promotions course, I needed to create a sample of direct mail marketing for a brand.
I decided to use the brand Everlane, and design a coupon code card with an attached personal clientele letter.

For my graphic design course, the challenge was to do a reductive illustration on an object, and then pair it with a non-literal word, and text.
I chose a pair of oxford shoes in my closet with the word empathy and poem about depression, expectations, and bullying by Sarah Kay (ft. in 13 Reasons Why, Netflix Original).

We all get late night cravings right?
Midnight Cravings is part of a new series called Obsession (more to come).
Playing of the background colors of the photo I took of my friend; I wanted to create a fun and psychedelic-like design. The design concept to be simple, yet open to interpretation.
I believe this design would be easily marketable and seen on posters, stickers, or even an editorial food article as a graphic.

I love playing with color theory, especially pairing complimentary color together that will make a statement. Inspiration from the simple, famous painting Composition II in Red, Blue, and Yellow by Piet Mondrian, I created an edit that would a frame and bring out Blogger Alex Dasilva's styled look.

A digital graphic/hang tag for my PockFit product design project.
I wanted to great a fun way for the consumer to understand/remember how the product worked.
This is not only a simple digital graphic design, but a unique hangtag.

In the recent political distress and logos created, I wanted to create an minimal graphic playing with typography and simple lines.
I believe using Futura Bold with the word "Strong" with a contour drawing of the female form gets across the Feminist message.

I love adding dimension and texture to photos. Here is an edit I did for my personal fashion Instagram account. Instagram, fashion blogging, and social media marketing is continuously evolving --- and this is a perfect example to freshen-up and standout amongst your peers and competitors.
